IEEE Student Branch of University Institute of Engineering & Technology (UIET), Panjab University, Chandigarh, in co-ordination with GOONJ-11' is organizing “ ESOTERIQUE- The technical presentation ” .
Our objective is to bring awareness about the latest technology and research areas, among the graduates, post graduates and school students.
Topic – “EMERGING TRENDS IN SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY “
The topic covers a very wide variety of subjects. The participants can give presentations on any recently discovered phenomenon, latest invention , etc.
Rules and Regulations
1. Maximum no. of students per team is 3.
2. There are three categories as
Group A - Undergraduates, Postgraduates, Diploma students of all disciplines.
Group B - students of class +1 and +2.
Group C - students of class 8th, 9th and 10th.
* Group B and C students can include their school level projects as well.
3. Teams will be required to submit a soft copy of their write-up/report by midnight 18th Feb,2011 on the basis of which their team will be shortlisted. The report should give a complete summary of your presentation and should not exceed 8-9 pages (Times New Roman, 12).
4. The event consists of 2 rounds as -
- Selection Round
The report received will be scrutinized by review committee comprising of faculty of UIET.
All the finalists will be informed by email as well as phone within 2 days after completion of the selection process.
- Final Round
It is the presentation round in UIET campus where the short-listed
teams will present their presentations. The decision of the judges will be final .
5. Maximum time per team
Group A – 10 minutes
Group B – 5 minutes
Group C – 5 minutes

- Communication Skills & body language - 10 marks
- Confidence - 5 marks
- Questions - 5 marks
